Eye Canada led by Optometrist Michael Nelson, is providing Optometry Clinics across Canada the ability to provide the most comprehensive low vision services and devices.  Eye Canada performed a 5-year test model in an optometry clinic to study process and procedures to create the best model for individual clinics in Canada.

The Eye Canada team provides a concrete plan that takes the onus off individual Doctors and Clinics, outsourcing the negative aspects of low vision, while retaining the benefits.  The goal of the Eye Canada model is to provide low vision patients with Optometrist care and guidance, while not detracting from any other segments of a participating clinic.  

Low vision patients are a rapidly growing segment of the total population, including an estimated 2.1 million Canadians suffering from Macular Degeneration.  Eye Canada strives to have full coverage across Canada, allowing patients to seek out Optometrists for low vision solutions.
